Primary Education
“Childhood should be given its full
measures of life’s drought, for
which it has endless thirst. The
young mind should be saturated
with the idea that it has been born
in a human world which is in
harmony with the world around it.
And this is what our regular type of
school ignores with an air of
superior wisdom, severe and
disdainful” – Tagore
Secondary dropout
Poor foundation resulting in
poor performance
Un-employability
Brain drain
Irresponsible citizenship
Inefficient governance due to
poor participation
Other Social issues resulting
out of above problems
Poor primary education is root cause of many critical issues.
“Takshila Nalanda ka itehas laut ke aayega “
What is the purpose of Primary Education?
Purpose of Primary education should be to help a child develop as an informed and healthy adult.
By the end of primary education a child should be able to decide on his course of secondary
education.
What we suggest?
A three tier program for simultaneous development of infrastructure , teachers and quality of
education imparted in primary and secondary sections and creation of volunteering network.
What to implement?
Value based education system which will develop moral , social and spiritual qualities in child.
Favorable job attitude system which will develop satisfied and commited teaching professionals.
Volunteer network will act as guiding light for the entire system.
How to implement?
Development of network of schools based on hierarchial model of special institutions.
Utilization of existing infrastructure and development of new case by case basis.
Enrollment of volunteers across the country and assign them schools of their choice.
Funding needs?
We need to increase education expenditure from current 3% of GDP to 6% of GDP to cater the
need of our young generation and improve outdated existing infrastructure. Promotion of tax
free donation schemes can also help in assisstance
Who is target population?
This solution is to cater the needs of government schools and government guidelines for
education policy for general public. Private institutions are developing there pedagogy model and
are self sufficient to cater their economic needs.

Development
“We must have life-building, man-making, character-making

•Vocational orientations
Infrastructral support
It is absolutely necessary to impart
training to teachers but it is also
necessary to perform in current
situation and IT can help , volunteers
can relay programs and teachers in far
flung areas can act as guide and
monitor.
Value based Pedagogy
Two important aspects of development
of value and ethics in school is to build
the curricula and development of
innovative methods to inculcate values
and ethics
BUSINESS PLAN

Our Plan for implementation of infrastructure
•On the lines of Hole in the Wall experiment, it has been proved that students
learn on their own if provided intrinsic incentives so we propose to use the wide
network of post offices(already existing, so no extra cost of creating a whole
new infrastructure)
•As it can be observed that there is a huge and widely scattered network of
Post-offices all across our country. Some relevant facts are:
•Number of post offices in India 1,55,015
•Total zones of post offices 22
•Number of post offices in rural areas 1,39,144
Creation of a public library system.
BUSINESS PLAN
The Market
Infrastructure
•Vast infrastructure of post
offices can be utilized to
provide networking facilities
for multimedia information
on the lines of Hole in the
wall experiment.
( 89.76 % of post offices are in
rural areas )
•Provision of laptops for
teachers. This will aid in
teaching as well as incentive
for teachers.
Incentives to students
•“ Where there is joy, there is
creation , where there is no
joy there is no creation.”
•By implementation of new
syllabus and avilability of
knowledge about
surroundings child will be
motivated to participate.
•By having model academies
they will have incentive to
perform in later stages.
•Mid day meals.
Incentives to Parents
• Meaning full education
where they can observe
changes in their child
•Incentives to perform and
secure better education will
lead to better enrollment to
secondary classes
•Involvement of parents
through parent-teacher
interaction and orientation
sessions will make them
aware of importance of
education
