Poly-strap is manufactured from “PET” Polyester (Polyethylene terephthalate) which is a new Environment
friendly strapping material to substitute Steel Strap and Polypropylene (PP) Strap. For the advantages it
offers, it is being increasingly used in packaging for strapping medium and heavy bales replacing Steel.
PETstrap has better strength to weight ratio than steel & PP.

The weight of Six meters of PET strap is equal to One meter of STEEL
strap of same size making its more economical and reducing the
freight cost and easy handling
PET strap is rust free and chemically inert. It does not leave any stain
on the pack
Strap does not have sharp edges like Steel, it will not cut or damage
product. PET strap create a safe work environment for user because
it does not 'Spring back' when removed, So there is no risk of injuries
while tensioning or cutting the strap.
PET strap has an Impact resistance five times greater than Steel
Strap. PET strap has higher Shock Absorbing capacity than steel
strap, so it is ideally suitable for compressed rigid loads that require
strapping tension throughout handling & storage
PET strap has slight Elasticity so, it tries to return to their original
position under tension. PET strap has good elongation recovery,
while Steel strap has no elongation recovery.

PET Strap does not damage the products as it
does not have the sharp edge and also does
not rust and stain packs under moisture
PET Strap does not cause any injuries while
Tensioning or Cutting as it has smooth edges
PET Strap retains tension longer than
Polypropylene Straps due to higher tensile
strength whereas PP strapping easily brakes
under pressure.
It has a more "elastic" effect of keeping
shrinking packages tighter.
