Cultural diversity acknowledges the existence of broad

Cultural diversity has been part of India's history, and
through it, India culture is constantly developing.

The need to understand diversity is also driven by
women in the workplace.
Today's workforce has the highest levels of
employment participation ever by women.
The number of dual income families and single
working mothers has increased.
Change in the family structure means that there are
fewer men and women in traditional family roles.
Therefore, diversity issues cut across both race and
gender.

Workplace diversity refers to the variety of differences between people in an organization.
It is also understanding of individual are different and unique.
Cultural diversity has been major party of Indian history, and through it, Indian culture is consistently developing.
These are the elements of the diversity, in which a person can judge a another person by..age, genger, physical ability, income, education, marital status, religious etc.
Hiring people with deferent cultural backgrounds.
Company always look at the diversity in the organization, therefore recruiters visits colleges of all over India and take them in a common cultural areas.
Where they adopt the culture and manage the diversity towards organizational goal.
Managing diversity : The best way to managing the diversity is Planning and Implementing organizational systems so that the advantages of diversity are maximized while its disadvantages are minimized.
Most people believe in the golden rule : treat others as you want to be treated. It is implicit that how you want to be treated is how others want to be treated. But when you look this through diversity prospective, you begin to ask the question – what does respect look like?, does it look same for everyone?
No right …so you should not treat people as you are treated.
Equation of the diversity: Respecting individuals from diff background + valuing or respect them+ with representing our business = Diversity
Multiculturalism is of multiple group of cultures existing within one society. It’s a system of behaviors to respect the presence of all the diverse group in an organization.
Women in the workplace: Today the employment of women has increase than India history and workforce has the highest levels of employment participation ever by women.
The no of single working mother has increased. Therefore, diversity issues cut across both race and gender.

Staffs are encouraged to work in their areas to reflect its diversity.
