Here in this picture what I find is that one vegetable are loaded on another. So due to upper package weight this can rupture the down one. Due to this I saw that few of the Brinjals got ruptured.

They should have used trays to separate from one another.
And they can use a plastic sheets to control it from direct sunlight.

Here in this slide I made a comparision between two.
One is perfectly packed and the other one is just kept randomly.
So as you can compare that one is in good condition and the another one that is not packed properly will get deteriorate. Its quality will be degraded and will not able to sell at good price.

In this picture we can clearly see that the vegetables are not graded nor it is washed and properly packed.
We can clearly see that on the vegetables are not fresh and the bittergourd is getting yellowish.
Basket of bittergourd is kept on the beans which will ultimately lead to degradation of beans.

Intervention - Proper transport is required. Proper packaging is required. It should be washed properly. Grading should be done according to there quality. Should not be directly put under the sunlight
Weight should not be put on the vegetables.

In this picture leafy vegetables are kept in direct sunlight and it will deteriorate the quality of the vegetables.

The leafy vegetable will deteriorate in high temperature and ultimately will be sold at less price and also causing wastages.

Intervention- It should be washed and watered regularly after harvesting from field

After cleaning and washing it should be properly handled to maintain its humidity and low temperature.
We can use gunny bags upon it and water it for moisture and humidity and it also prevent direct sunlight.

In this picture we can clearly see that the Mango is bruished and decaying Which is causing the post-harvest losses.
They were not not packed properly

Exposure of the mango in the sun results in rapid water loss

Intervention- we can pack is it properly in the carton/plastic crates we should not over pack it and we can grade according to the quality.
Transportation is also important as it can lead to bruising of the mango.
