1. Efficiency gain: join efforts and expertise to gather
information and develop the tool.
2. Alignment with demand: input in early stages ensures
tool addresses the needs of target users.
3. Better guarantee for uptake: co-development
accelerates scaling and adoption by target end users.
Co-development process will generate:
 Trust in the recommendations
 Buy-in and ownership of the tools developed
 DevPs take up the use of the tools within their primary activities and strategies
 promote the use of the DSTs with other extension programmes
