• Sustainability of Cross-border-Collaboration
– GI2000 of former BOWGIS transformed from Strategy
seminars into the tradition of 10 years [ GI2000+X ] –
Symposium series, since 2003 managed by IGN e.V.
• It is also a sustainable roadmap result of finished
EU-FP6-Project „NaturNet+Redime“ (NNR)
– Continued by CCSS with several new EU-FP7 projects
since 2008 with new results to be presented today !
• Therefore, the focus of GI2010 will be on GeoINSPIRE‘d:
– INNOVATIONS + X-border-GDI + NETWORKS

MAP of the MOT-Members
The Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière
(MOT) is an association which facilitates the
implementation of local cross-border projects.
PAMINA
The MOT network has 55 members in 11
countries, ranging from local authorities, cross-
border bodies and federations to large enterprises
and States.
Its activities can be divided into four main
headings: operational assistance, networking and
training, support in defining overall strategies and
European activities. It also acts as an intermediary
between local stakeholders, and national and
European authorities.

SIGRS < CH+DE+FR > GISOR
Das Geographische Informationssystem des Oberrheins stützt sich auf folgende
Unterlagen:
Ein georeferenziertes, kartographisches Verzeichnis im Format „Vektor und Raster”,
organisiert in thematischen Informationsschichten (von 1: 5.000 - 1: 4000.000), basierend
auf den Daten des Téléatlas.
Eine geographische Umweltdatenbank mit den zugehörigen alphanumerischen Daten für
das gesamte Mandatsgebiet der ORK. Für diese Datenbank liegen zweisprachige
Erläuterungen vor.
Eine alphanumerische statistische Datenbank für das Mandatsgebiet der ORK, die
entsprechend der verschiedenen geographischen Zoneneinteilung und den nterschied-
lichen Entscheidungsebenen der öffentlichen Verwaltung genutzt werden kann.
Eine Zusammenstellung georeferenzierter Daten zu den Bereichen Transport, Umwelt,
Statistik, Raumordnung, usw., und die erstellten Kartenwerke.
Die GISOR-SIGRS Kartensammlung bietet derzeit 84 allgemeine und nach Themen
geordnete Karten für das Mandatsgebiet der Oberrheinkonferenz an. Da in relativ kurzen
Zeitabständen immer wieder neue Karten veröffentlicht werden, bietet Ihnen die Rubrik
„Kartographische Neuheiten“ die fünf Karten, welche zuletzt online gestellt wurden.
