2. PROBLEMS
Animal shelter in Tychy does a great job at helping
animals but it needs our help to continue it's
mission. Without our support it wouldn't be able to
provide a home to all of our four-legged friends that
deserve it.
We believe that as people we are responsible for
our furry friends and that's why we want to help
them.
Horse haven in Tychy saves hundreds of horses
and other farm animals from mistreatment and
exploitation and gives them a warm home but
like the shelter this foundation needs funds to
upkeep it's operations.

DONATING TO THE ANIMAL
SHELTER AND HORSE HAVEN IN
TYCHY TO SUPPORT THEM IN
THEIR MISSIONS OF PROVIDING
ANIMALS WITH QUALITY HELP.

Food fair that in addition to traditional dishes can
offer vegan and vegetarian options.

Profits from the lottery could be donated to help
animals.

Bookmarks made by our artistic friends, that we
could sell.

5. POSTERS
We'd like to prepare a few posters promoting the adoption of older dogs
and cats from the shelter. We could put them up in places such as our
school, town libraries or digitaly post them on facebook fanpages (for
example page of animal shelter, or some pro-animal foundations)

We believe that changing your lifestyle
to a vegan or vegetarian one is a valid
way of helping animals.
The food fair would aim to
promote ethical treatment of
animals by including vegan and
vegetarian options. Profits from
the fair could be donated to the
horse haven in Tychy.

9. LOTTERY
During this lottery students could
win for example a day without oral
tests and "entrance quizzes" or
some small prizes like a coupon to
buy something in the school's store
that could be funded by the parent
board.
The lottery tickets could include
some messages or facts about
adopting animals.
Profits from the lottery would be
donated to the animal shelter or
horse haven.

10. Artistic Bookmarks
We have a few very talented
friends who would love to share
their artistic skills by making
drawings of animals which we
could sell as bookmarks (there
would be 4-5 patterns which we'd
photocopied and laminate).
This idea worked very well in our
primary school. Of course all profits
from sale would go to our urban
animal shelter or horse haven.

11. ANIMAL BINGO
We thought about distributing "animal bingo" cards or hanging it in our school as a
poster. It would look like this:
You can check if you have similar
features as one of the dog or cat from
the shelter. Four matching features in a
row make you and the animal at the end
of the row a perfect couple.
We would use real photos of animals from
the shelter and we could ask people who
work there to describe personalities of their
protages so the traits form the bingo would
match the traits of real animals.

12. FOR OUR OWN
BETTERMENT
We believe that if we want to really make a change
we have to truly understand the problem and what
causes it. We want to learn more and achieve this
we would like to speak to workers and volunteers at
the animal shelter and horse heaven. These
organisations organize meetings with small groups
to educate them on issues that animals face
everyday, from abuse to neglect.
We hope that by doing this we'll become better
volunteers and gain a new perspective on how to
approach these subjects.
