browser, just enhance it.
2. To get the app …
• Search the iTunes store (for
iPad, iPhone, iPod)
• Search the Google Play
store (for Android devices)
• Once installed, open the
app. Then search for
“Metropolitan Community
College – Nebraska”
3. Login …
• With your MCC
username and
password.
• This will save in the app
unless you log out.
• If your password
changes, be sure to
login again with the
new one.
4. • You’ll see a menu with
all your available
courses.
• Tap the course name to
get in and check out
the content.
5. • Navigate through
folders by tapping their
names; go back with
the arrow in the upper
left.
• Instructors can add
items with the Add
button.
6. • You can read written
lectures, watch
embedded videos
• You won’t be able to
complete all course
activities through
the app, but you can
access content on
the go.
7. • You can even read and
respond to discussions.
• Just tap “Reply” to post.
8. • For more complex tasks
such as taking tests,
switch to a web browser.
• Tests will show a
warning when not app-
friendly.
9. • Use the Dashboard (top
of the home menu) to
see announcements and
upcoming deadlines.
10. The app is also
great for …
keeping up-to-date with
course changes and
deadlines. You can set
up notifications to get
new course info sent
directly to your mobile
device.
11. • To enable notifications,
tap “Settings” on the
main menu, then
“Notifications.”
• Choose which actions
you want to be notified
about.
