This document provides information about the IAU Alexandria Conference held from November 14-16, 2005 on the role of associations and institutions in sharing quality higher education across borders. The conference included two plenary sessions, the first with opening remarks and keynote addresses providing facts, figures and trends on cross-border higher education. The second plenary session featured the presentation of a statement on sharing quality higher education globally and introductions to the OECD-UNESCO Draft Guidelines for quality provision in cross-border higher education programs.
