Erdenekhuu Khongorzul has recently started studying architecture and finds it interesting as it relates closely to humans. While designing and discovering new things is challenging, architecture helps him learn about himself as the world and field change daily. Through struggles and accomplishments in his studies, he has found a new version of himself. His portfolio includes internship works on visa centers and residential projects, as well as school projects on a play institute and gallery in a park.

2. I find architecture interesting for it has very close relations with humans. But
doing designs and discovering new things are not that easy. The world is chang-
ing day by day and so is architecture and I have just drawn my first line in this
archtectural field. Eventhough I have just started it, architecture helps me to find
myself. It was fun to discover myself while studying architecture. Through those
times of sufferings and achievements I found new me even I didn’t know. In
otherside I felt so many regrets and disappointment for myself. I am happy that I
better me.

5. Concept Idea
Concept Idea is Dynamic space. I did
some paper works what I wanted.
There wasn’t any rule for that. I
wanted to show straight and curved
lines. My idea was floor becomes
chairs and furnitures, and furnitures
make walls.

Nowadays there is no children in the playground and also there is very
few. So It needs some place which is parents and children can spend their
time together, studying, having fun and learning some new things
together. Play Institute is offering those conditions. The project started
with Dynamic space which is straight and curved lines. Even straight and
curved lines have very different natures but in otherside they can make
very interesting space.

9. The Graduation Work started from artwork. My
artwork concept was “see through my hands”. I
found very sensitive emotions and I wanted to express
it. To visualise and strengthen the concept I decided
to create an artwork through thread and balloons . I
made different sizes of thread balls and put them into
one to build the structure.
Concept Idea
After artwork I wanted to design some space formed by only lines instead of walls.
This is my space concept. There would be nowalls but only lines, and we could see
everything through the lined walls. This condition gives very close relation
between people and environment. The program is gallery. Usually when people
visit gallery there is some specific space and people could only see it in exact
place. I wanted to remove this bold feelings. I wish people enjoy and feel comfort-
able in gallery, also It would be better they can rest there too.

10. Sketch_Plan
This gallery is no roof. In this gallery people can relate
directly into environment. There is no roof but this pavil-
lion made by 4 different level and each level has own slab.
under the highest level’s slab people can avoid from rain.
While rising on the stairs you can see whole gallery. All
stairs turning around in gallery.

I like to take pictures of sky, sunlight, lights, see through my hands. I am not that much photographic person but I like
to record my emotions of the moments. Sometimes those records are so priceless to me like my own diary. I like to see
my pictures later and reminisce old memories. In Mongolia people love sky and Mongolian people say there is no other
place in the world that has blue sky as Mongolia. Maybe that’s the reason for my hobby.
