Reduce/Reduction: to make something
smaller or use less, resulting in a
smaller amount of waste. "Source
reduction" is reducing waste before you
purchase it, or by purchasing products

wisely, and using less than usual in

You can "reuse" materials in their original form instead of
throwing them away, or pass those materials on to others who

6. Easier - Recycle means to process old, used items in order that the material
can be used to make new products. Examples of things that are often recycled
are glass, plastic, newspapers, aluminum cans, used motor oil, and batteries.
Here, reduce refers to lessening the amount of items or resources that are
consumed, using only the amount that is needed, and looking for alternatives
that will lessen our use. And reuse means extending the 'life' or repurposing an
item rather than discarding or throwing it away.
Harder - Recycling is the processes of collecting, processing, remanufacturing,
and reusing materials instead of discarding them. This helps conserve raw
materials and energy that manufacturers would otherwise use in producing new
products. Recycling also reduces the amount of material going into landfills.
Recycling helps lessen the pollution that may result from waste disposal.
Reducing our consumption of materials and reducing the waste of materials
also adds to the conservation of our resources.

Recycling reduces the need for landfills, but it also
does much more. By recycling, you are conserving
natural resources, such as trees, metal ores,
minerals, oil, and water. You are also reducing the
amount of pollution and greenhouse gases released
into the environment, and you are conserving
energy. Recycling can be fun and easy, and by
recycling, you are helping yourself and your
community, and you are setting a good example at
the same time.

One of the ways:
Art & crafts experiences enable children to acquaint
themselves with the natural qualities of the earth
such as leaves, rocks, shells, dirt, wind, rain and
sunshine. Children also learn to observe, create,
and remain in touch with the ever changing world,
and to develop a caring attitude towards the earth by
learning to recycle and use materials for art and
crafts rather than throwing them away.

Recycle: We should not throw cans, bottles and newspapers into

We can try to reuse what we already have. We can help keep trash

paper material. How can a T-shirt be reused - many pieces of fabric
from T-shirts can make a great quilt!
Reduce - Every home can reduce the amount of waste/garbage it
