• Arrange FCL ocean operations, imports and exports.
• Maintain and expand carrier relationships
• Coordinates release and entry processing for ocean and air export shipments,
including U.S. Customs and/or freight releases; arranges for final delivery after
release
• Insures regulatory requirements and proper documentation, including transit
documents and customs clearances, exists for shipments. Ensure documentation
is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, customers
and agents in a timely manner.
• Identify incoming documents to insure required documents are received
• Notify customer of missing documents
• Prepare arrival notices and invoices for the shipments
• Coordinate carrier release by submitting required bills of lading and freight
payments
• Prepare trucker or carrier delivery order
• Monitor release status of Customs and Freight release
• Send releases to carriers’ facility (when required)
• Communicate shipment status to customers via fax, phone or email including
spreadsheet preparation
• Traffic arranging and coordinating the delivery orders, pick up numbers, freight
availability and distribution of notifications for final delivery
