to be implemented by the Districts and schools for relevant and global learning in the
fields of Communication Arts for both Reading and Language.

workshops in the field and re-echo or disseminates such to all concern.

Plans the whole duties and exercises in relation to Music for the District as well as for the

DISTRICT AND SCHOOL MUSIC COORDINATOR
Coordinates with the Division Office on the trends, methods and strategies use in
teaching of music integrated into two other aspects of learning; the arts and physical
education
Provides teachers an up-to-date hand-outs; such as music scores and literature guides for
old and beginning teachers. To make teaching of music more effectively in their
respective classes as well as to integrate other learning areas in the field.
Conduct DLAC (District Learning Action Cell) and SLAC (School Learning Action Cell)
for immediate dissemination of the National Policy in handling Music classes.
Organized School Choral (Children’s Choir) to represent the school into different
activities including the Community Service like the Lingap sa Barangay (City Project for
the Poor) and church Service (Sunday Masses and other Occasion)
Also District Teachers Chorale, composed of teachers came from the different schools in
the district. Teachers undergo rigid training to develop their musicality such as vocal
techniques, note reading and instrumentations. Teachers Chorale participates in yearly
Paskong Himig sa Lungsod ng Pasig (a Christmas project of the City Mayor of Pasig)
