Du Fu born on 712 on
Gongyi, Henan, China. Died
770 aged 58 was a Chinese
poet and politician of the Tang
dynasty. Along with his elder
contemporary and friend Li Bai
(Li Po), he is frequently called
the greatest of the Chinese
poets.[1] His greatest ambition
was to serve his country as a
successful civil servant, but he
proved unable to make the
necessary accommodations..

Yu Hua born on April 3,
1960 (age 62 years) in
Hangzhou Zhejiang, is a
Chinese author. Shortly
after his debut as a fiction
writer in 1983, his first
breakthrough came in
1987, when he released
the short story On the
Road at Age Eighteen. Yu
Hua was regarded as a
promising avant-garde or
post-New Wave writer.
