2. ABOUT I’m Havana. I’m an ex-introvert, animation fanatic, Asian-American, sociable, creative, analytical, curious, and ambitious dreamer. Entrepreneurship, drive, and innovation fill my heat with joy and I love working with clients who dream. I’ve been drawing since I was three, designing since I was 14, making websites since I was 15, and I am proud to say that everything was self-taught. It’s a natural passion. That natural passion has now matured into a love for creating brand identities. Crafting the experience, narrative, and look so that the end user can connect with the brand is a exciting and fulfilling challenge for me. Even better is when my designs result in viral success and gets retweeted, shared, and celebrated. When I am not designing or drawing, I like reading about international affairs (particularly about the Islamic world), helping other students start businesses, reading about evolutionary psychology, and drinking wine with friends. 5. Logo design It’s the tiny details that convey the brand’s personality: the colors, the curves and shape of the type, the thickness of its form– logo design chips away at the unnecessary to create the brand’s signature.
