1. Generally in normal life we use two types of
cardboard or I can say we are familiar with two types
of cardboard one is paperboard type and another is
cartoon or box type. Uses of both the cardboard are
quite different; both are used for special purposes.
Both are important elements of Packaging.
Paperboard cardboard is used in packaging of fruits,
kitchen products, food items, and sweets. Cartoon
and box cardboard is used to pack heavy items such
as electronic materials, delicate items including
glass and other things.

2. Basic users of both these are also different, where paperboard is
used by common man where as box and cartoon are used for
industrial purpose such as packaging, transportation and shipping
These products occupy very important place in their market and
without these you cannot run these industries

3. Our lifestyle depends on these cardboard very much Some of our
day to day work like, marketing and shopping cannot be done
without using cardboard

4. In small shops paper bags are used frequently, to pack items and to
deliver material, shop owners use paper bags In today's scenario
shipping and transportation industries are getting bigger and bigger
and that's the reason behind increasing demand of boxes and
containers

5. To full fill demand of these cardboard is playing a vital role, and it is
doing its work smartly One thing which I like about cardboard boxes
is its ability of re-usability and redesign, you can easily add extra
space or slot in boxes

6. For example, the cartoon of cold drinks and milk bottle, to pack
those bottles a special type of box is made in which they are packed
To carry cartoons and boxes a special hand slot is also added in two
sides, so that you can carry the box comfortably

7. Pollution is another critical issue and it require attention of all of us,

if we have alternate of it then I think it is better to use cardboard box
Eighty five to ninety percent of Cardboard can be recycled and after
this it can be used in other purpose

8. Rest cardboard which cannot be recycled can be used in furniture
and other things So I think cardboard is a very nice thing and as
nature concern, instead of plastic bags we should use paper bags
and cardboard boxes

9. Some extra elements like plastic or wax coating can be added with
boxes to secure food items from cardboard, so with all these features
cardboard is a good packaging item
