Hinweis der Redaktion
The Chubu Regional Centre of Expertise flagship project focuses on the river basins of a number of rivers flowing into the Ise-Mikawa Bay. It tries to linkup a variety of activities geared to eliminating the sources of un-sustainability, ecological, social and economic, in the river-basins of different rivers, the Shonai River, the Nagara River, the Yahagi River, the Toyo River, etc.. It proposes to link them up, from up-stream, through mid-stream, down-stream, and the gulf area, since one of the major cause of the un-sustainability in the river basins is the positive feedbacks linking unsustainable processes such as the over-concentration of population and industrial activities, mid-stream and down stream, affecting the life pattern of the vegetal, animal and human settlements, upstream, as well as in the bay area where the rivers flow in.
