17. From our observation and interview,
we notice that poverty is not a
main issue of the residents in KRRL.
Most residents are not poor
financially, they have adequate
resources and jobs to sustain them
and their families.

3 antenas/ house Housing issues were raised by the
stakeholders during the MSD. The
three main issues were coded 3K -
Kebersihan, Kesihatan, Keselamatan.
(Hygiene, Health, Safety).
Local leaders seem to be effective
mediators between the community
and authorities.
19. Leaders do not decide on their own,
instead pass up predicaments of the
people to the government
(democratic)
The dirty area around their houses
indicates lack of knowledge and
concerns for the environment.

idea of relocation as planned by the
authorities.
They did raise the concern of
accessibility to the sea.
