1. Abstract –This project is to programme the PIC 18 ,18, 28 and 40 pin PICs of 12F ,
16F, 18F families , inserted on ZIF :zero insertion force socket .this device will able
the user to programme the PIC easily .More than that ,it can be configured to process
automatically to the programming every time user make the assembly / compiled
programme. This software compatible is MPLAB IDE and PICkit microchip-2 .Besides
that ,the compatible hardware with microchip’s PICkit-2 .The interface with the PC or
laptop is done through a USB port from where the user take the power .It is,therefore
,a small size ,powerful ,economical and completely portable programmer which is
controlled directly from the familiar MPLAB – IDE development enviroment and
PICkit-2 programming software .

INTRODUCTION
This project is to program the PIC in many choice pin by using the burner equipment
and the suitable coding. This device will enable the user to program the PIC from the
coding computer to the circuit burner. Here, this project using a sofware MPLAB to
creat the coding and a simple circuirt burner to program the many type pin PIC. This
equipment is enable t the student who want to do it their project bu using their IC
programme. Its interface with the PC or laptop is done through a USB port from
where you take the power.
OBJECTIVE
1. To understanding about the sofware MP Lab and the universal burner.
2. To learn programme the PIC using the Universal burnner.
3. To build the circuit and research about suitable connection between software
MP Lab and Universal burnner.
2. METHODOLOGY
Firstly, this project starts by searching for literature reviews from books and
journals as a readability sources. Then the suitble circuits were identified. This project
is available to student who want to learn how to programme the PIC microcontroller.
The process PIC programme from the coding MPLAB to the circuit burner.
Next, the activities are design the circuit and coding. Circuit will be design by
Lifewire and PCB wizard. This software help identify the simulation of circuit before
design the circuit at the project board.
The next stage would be simulation for the circuit. Labs experiments are the
way to verify the overall designed are operation. Beside that, MPLAB software will be
used as compiler in programming. MPLAB Integrated Development Environment
(IDE) is a free, integrated toolset for the development of embedded applications
employing Microchip's PIC® and dsPIC® microcontrollers. MPLAB IDE runs as a 32bit application on MS Windows®, is easy to use and includes a host of free software
components for fast application development and super-charged debugging. MPLAB
IDE also serves as a single, unified graphical user interface for additional Microchip
and third party software and hardware development tools. Moving between tools is a
snap, and upgrading from the free software simulator to hardware debug and
programming tools is done in a flash because MPLAB IDE has the same user
interface for all tools.
Next, all components will be order refer to all these circuit in this project. After
that is a hardware construction.Then hardware circuit will be transferred to PCB
board and the etching process will be done.
In the end, a model will be build to place the project. This device will allow
individuals to programme the PIC burner using the coding and MPLAB sofware.
3. DISCUSSION

Throughout this project, designer could fully understand the topic that learns in this
project. Beside that, the main hardware systems that can programme the PIC 18 ,18,
28 and 40 pin PICs of 12F , 16F, 18F families , inserted on ZIF :zero insertion force
socket .this device will able the user to programme the PIC easily. This software
compatible is MPLAB IDE and PICkit microchip-2 . More than that ,it can be
configured to process automatically to the programming every time user make the
assembly / compiled programme. So all objectives below are achived;
