What is Education ?
Education in its general sense is a form
of learning in which the Knowledge, skills,
and habits of a group of people are
transferred from one generation to the next
through teaching, training, or research.
Education is “Preparing a person to face
everyday life”.

Education Today
• Today’s education system in India is challenging but
needs some changes.
• The education system in India puts more
emphasis on the theoretical knowledge than
the practical.
• The Quality of the Education must be
improved rather than the Quantity

Challenges in Present Education
System
• Lack of will to learn in youth: because they are unable to
adjust for long period in class rooms, the ability of teachers to inspire students
is decreasing day by day. Because of this, people are becoming bookish
knowledge in present education system.
• Quality of Teaching: The very recent graduates are appointed as
teachers which affect a lot, this is all done because the managements can
reduce their burden of spending money for experienced ones.
• Reservations: There should be no difference between forward caste and
backward caste the students should be rated with the amount of knowledge they
have. There are reservations for government jobs also, if a backward caste student
just passes his graduation it is more than sufficient to get that govt job.
• Infrastructure: he infrastructure provided today in any college is
not that efficient as it should be. In government schools there are no
proper class rooms, efficient staff etc etc.

What we have to do:
• If the government takes action at least against some
of the challenges mentioned above than the future
of student can be improved to a better successful
person. As everyone know India has major
population as youth, if there is a revolution in
present educational system than every student of
today may become a successful person in life. If this
becomes than no one can stop the future of India, as
a developed country from developing country(for
past many years).

IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION IN LIFE
Education is a process of learning and knowing, which
is not restricted to our text-books.
It is a holistic process and continues through our life.
even the regular happenings and events around us
Educate us in one or other way.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that existence
of human being is fruitless without education.
An educated person has the ability to change the
world, as he/she is brimming with confidence and
assured of making the right moves.

acquiring new skills and talent through education.
• We find our selves in the most competitive jobs,
courtesy the right training and education.
• The importance of education is evident by dizzy
heights we achieve in life.

• The significance of education, for a great part, lies in
its ability to open new vistas for us. It expands our
outlook and teaches to be tolerant towards other
views. An educated person will find it easier to
understand a different point of view than the one
who is uneducated. Education broadens our mental
landscape and is the way forward to a greater
enlightenment –the ultimate goal of every human in
life.

SPREAD AWARENESS
Awareness is a virtue in itself, given that the lack of
awareness is lamented everywhere. Education
spreads awareness, informing us about our rights
and the services that we can access. On the most
basic notes it teaches us to differentiate
between right and wrong.

• An Educated person is a confident person. Education
fosters a positive outlook and allows us to believe in
ourselves. Self belief is the most wanted trait in a
human being and education leads us towards relying on
