• Males forgetting family chores because of:
– Their problems at work

– Unimportance given to the task
• This sowed the seeds of procrastination

– Always took a hit and was completed on last 3 / 4
days by most of us
– Taking pride in finishing homework in short span
of time

• Postpone things till last minute
• Last minute adrenaline rush and high focus on
task at hand
• Get mixed results depending upon ability to
focus and work under pressure
• Become content with results and believe this
is the best we could do

– Were always punctual
– Inculcated strong values and belief system in gen X
• Gen X
– Worked really hard to overcome tough times and
did great to improve fortunes for their families
– Were punctual at work but defaulted on small
tasks at home

• Setting tight internal deadlines for yourself
• No more procrastination
• Focus on achieving all these deadlines /
schedules
• Work on your efficiency frontier at all times
rather than only for deadlines
• Strive for 100 % results
