3. 1. GIVE PRIVATELY
“….do not announce it with trumpets…”
“…do not let your left hand know what your
right hand is doing, so that your giving may
be in secret.”
4. Matthew 6: 2
So when you give to the needy, do not announce it
with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the
synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by
others. Truly I tell you, they have received their
reward in full.
5. Matthew 6: 3-4
3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left
hand know what your right hand is doing,4 so that
your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who
sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
6. II Corinthians 9:7
Each of you should give what you have
decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or
under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful
giver.
7. 2. GIVE VOLUNTARILY
“Each of you should give what you have
decided in your heart to give…NOT under
compulsion”
Giving is expected but the percentage that
you give is not Compulsory but voluntarily.
8. 3. GIVE WILLINGLY
“Each of you should give what you have decided
in your heart to give…NOT Reluctantly”
10. I Corinthians 16:1-2
Now about the collection for the Lord’s people:
Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2
On the first day of every week, each one of you
should set aside a sum of money in keeping with
your income, saving it up, so that when I come
no collections will have to be made.
11. 5. GIVE REGULARLY
“On the first day of the week, each of you is to pu
something aside and store it up, as he may
prosper...”
12. 6. GIVE INDIVIDUALLY
“On the first day of the week, each of you is to pu
something aside and store it up, as he may
prosper...”
13. 7. GIVE PROPORTIONALLY
“On the first day of the week, each of you is to pu
something aside and store it up, as he may
prosper...”
14. II Corinthians 8:2-4
Out of the most severe trail, their overflowing joy
and their extreme poverty welled up in rich
generosity. For I testify that they gave as they
were able, and even beyond their ability.
Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with
us for the privilege of sharing in this service to
the saints. (NIV)
15. 8. GIVE GENEROUSLY
“Out of the most severe trail, their overflowing joy
and their extreme poverty welled up in rich
generosity.”
16. II Corinthians 9:6-7
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also
reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously
will also reap generously.
17. 9. GIVE SACRIFICIALLY

even beyond their ability…”
