2. Introduction
• Area Based Insulation scheme for Hampshire
• An offer for all Hampshire residents (except
Southampton and Portsmouth)
• Support from all 11 Hampshire district and
borough councils and the County Council
• Managed by HCC and Yorkshire Energy
Services

3. Insulate Hampshire Aims to….
• Deliver up to 18,000 insulation measures over
and above the current rate
• Around £7 million CERT funding attracted into
Hampshire
• Make savings for residents on energy bills (an
estimated ongoing £3million per annum into
the Hampshire economy)
• Reduce Carbon (CO2 ) emissions of 18,000
tonnes per annum
• Improve health and wellbeing, particularly for
vulnerable groups

4. Insulate Hampshire Offers…
• Loft insulation for £99 and Cavity
wall insulation for £75, (both subject
to survey)
• Free for householders over 70 and
those receiving qualifying benefits
• Discount on rolls of insulation for
DIY loft ‘top up’
• Help with installing solar panels
• Referrals to other community
services, e.g. Home Safety Visits
from Fire Service

• Residents can register:

• Insulate Hampshire team will register details with
one of three installers
• Free Survey/Quote
• If survey ok then installation arranged
