2011 – Current Employment Adviser, Wise Ability
As an employment advisor my role is finding ways to help people from all walks of life back into work. I have to quickly
got to grip with clients backgrounds and career goals, and keeping them motivated and focused on securing sustainable
employment. I provide guidance on everything from CV writing to interviews and encouraging them to meet and push
for new goals in life. My responsibilities cover;

To identify and source and match vacancies to participants who are disadvantaged in the labour market. Network and

Temporary Contract assisting a4e in Barnsley in an advising role and helping clients job search and improve customer

Building relationships with existing clients to maximise on all supply potential. Completion of all necessary management
reports for directors. Also recruited for major onsite contract Wilkinson’s supplying warehousing staff on a 24hr rota
basis
2008 – 2009 Senior Consultant, Staffsign
Recruited to perform sales for the branch covering a large area from East and South Yorkshire through to the outskirts
of West Yorkshire. My role consisted of Business research and sourcing, cold calling, making and attending own visits.
Building lasting business relationships and producing new clients for resourcing team.
2006 – 2008 Onsite Senior Consultant, Top gear Recruitment – Wakefield
The main responsibility of my role is supplying industrial staff to a major contract along with sourcing new business
within the area. Screening and interviewing suitable temporary staff, ensuring all documents meet legal standards.
Business development via cold calling and client visits, forging lasting relationships with both existing and prospective
clients. Negotiating rates and fees. Development of company database through fact finding and area visits. Consistently
hitting targets increased contract revenue by 100%, created a new A-Z desk and delivered a high level of service to all.
2004 – 2006 Driver/Valetor, Team Leader
Collection and delivery of the customer vehicles for sales and services department. Making sure all vehicles were
thoroughly cleaned prior to return. Supervising small team of 4 valetors.
2002 – 2004 Recruitment Consultant, Labour Ready Recruitment
Recruiting temporary industrial staff for clients in the South Yorkshire area. Cold calling and spec calls to potential
clients. Arranging and attending client visits. Working within a team environment to increase revenue and profit
margins. I was seconded by Coventry branch for a period of time to support the business. By continual telesales the
branch revenue had trebled before I left to return to Sheffield.
