September 2006 to September 2010: On contract as a SAP ABAP consultant at South African Breweries Ltd. on projects.
I was involved with:
 SD, MM, PP and FI projects as well as limited exposure to HR.
 Involved in the ECC6 upgrade project in 2008.
 One of 4 ABAP developers on the ABI integration project (Main Areas were SD and FI) in 2008.
o Smartforms (including development of Bank deposit slips)
o User Exits
o BTE’s
o SAPScript
o IDOCs
o OO development.
o Performance improvement on existing custom reports and debugging of problems.
o Development of programs to be run as batch/background jobs.
o Generation of downloads transported via trusted gateway (RFC). For the ABI integration project I was
responsible for all the data download creation via the trusted gateway for a Margin Minder system. The
project also included the development of FTP transfers to Coca Cola SA.
o Creation and maintenance of custom programs and reports.
o Creation of Function groups (mainly for custom reporting functionality at SABMiller).
o Custom (Z-table) creation, with the creation of all related domains, data elements and indexes. Creation of
transactions linked to the maintenance options for these tables.
o General Maintenance and response to incidents generated by SAP system.
I completed a Java Course through Van Zyl and Pritchard in June 2007.
