A brief description of what we envision our app doing.

2. GradyConnect
 GradyConnect is a Linkedin application
that allows alumni to connect with
current Grady students.
 A community of like-minded individuals
with similar career paths and goals.
 A portfolio builder that lets students and
alumni share their creative ventures.

3. Events
 GradyConnect will provide a listing of
official Grady College events as well as
other events in the Athens and Atlanta
area.
 Grady College will be able to reach out
to alumni and vise versa about speaking
and recruiting opportunities.

4. Portfolios
 Students and alumni alike will have the
opportunity to create and show-off their
work via an online portfolio.
 This will give alumni the chance to recruit
current Grady students for internships
and possible job opportunities.

5. Mentoring
 GradyConnect will also provide a
mentoring service were students can be
groomed by professionals in their desired
industries.
 Mentoring is a great way alumni can
give back to Grady College years after
they have graduated.
 It also gives students the chance to peer
into the minds of more experienced
professionals.

6. Donations
 Our application will provide a safe portal
for contributions to the Grady College of
Journalism and Mass Communications.

7. Research
 GradyConnect will offer act as an
information beacon for all research
being conducted within Grady College.
 Why give if you don’t know where it is
going?

8. Clubs
 Clubs that are popular within the Grady
community will have an outlet to recruit
current students to join and update them
on events and meetings.
 It also provides clubs the opportunity to
reach out to alumni willing to speak for a
particular club.
