Learn foundational concepts of game design, mechanics and coding.. Intro to Game Design (JavaScript) 40-55 hrs 6th & up Learn fundamentals of game design and coding by creating a two-level game using HTML5 and JavaScript. Follow a real- world design and engineering process. (Fall 2015) Intro to Game Design (ActionScript) 40-55 hrs 6th & up Learn to code & design 2 games using Flash & ActionScript following a real-world design & engineering process. Intermediate Game Design 40-55 hrs 6th & up Deepen design, coding and teamwork skills. Collaboratively create a complex learning game using a professional process. Prerequisite: Intro to Game Design (ActionScript) Mobile Game Design 40-55 hrs 6th & up Learn to design and code a 2D game that leverages mobile- device features. Export and test on mobile devices. Prerequisite: Intro to Game Design (ActionScript) 3D Game Design 40-55 hrs 9th & up Learn to develop a 3D adventure game that is fun and educational using JavaScript and Unity.
