2. Who is our target
audience?
• As our documentary series is based predominantly on social media, this means it will
attract the very people that uses these sites.
• Who are these people?
• From these statistics, its clear to see that
social networking is most popular with
those aged 25 – 35.
• This means they would be most interested
in our topic as it concerns them more than
others.
3. What is the target audience
for social media?
• This is difficult to answer as everyone and anyone has access to social
networking sites.
• However it is evident that a majority of these social site users are of a
younger generation.
• This could be down to the fact that the older generation grew in a different
time and therefore have a different outlook on socialising over the internet.
• This therefore means our topic will be aimed at the younger generation also
as this is something that affects them.
• The fact that social media is popular amongst our target audience, serves well
in getting them to relate to our documentary.
