Download JDK from oracle, Environment Variables, Java SE Development

1. Downloading and installing
the JDK

2. * Right click on My computer and
select properties
* Check your operating system and bit

3. • Download JDK from oracle.

4. • Accept the license
• And click the respective JDK option you need
(matching to your OS)
If your OS is 32
bit than select
Windows * 86

5. • Double click on downloaded file
• And press next/continue option on all the pop-up (installation
window appears). Let all steps complete

6. Select close or finish option

7. • You can find your installed file in the below location
C:Program FilesJava

8. Copy path
• Copy path of JDK along with bin
– Eg: C:Program FilesJavajdk1.7.0_79bin

9. Setting path
• Right click on My-computer and select properties
• Select Advance system setting
• Press on Environment Variables

10. Press OK after

name and value
Again press OK
on Environment
variables
window
Again press OK
on System
Properties
window
• Under user variables select new option
• Enter as PATH for variable name and paste the path of JDK (refer page-8)
as the variable value
