PROFILE
Giorgio Bragoli is a permanent employee of an international Telecoms vendor company called Voss which operates in
the Unified Communications (UC) sphere. Voss is a collaboration partner of Cisco.
He has spent the last year designing, developing and delivering courseware for corporate clients of Voss’s Unified
Communications (UC) management platform offering. This is an umbrella platform that manages Cisco’s Unified
Communications applications, software and hardware. He has also created training environments from scratch using
VMWare where clients could conduct labs, tutorials and practical exercises under supervision to cement learning.
Before that he spent the 3 years working as an Application Support and Infrastructure course coordinator in the London
offices of FDM. He was part of the team that grew FDM from a £30 million company to a £300 million pound company
in just 3 years. He was responsible for supervising, managing, mentoring, examining and tutoring over 250 graduates
who have been placed on site rendering a total of £40 million to FDM over 3 years.
He also has 5 years’ experience supporting Solaris and HP-UX Unix platforms in the Nortel and Alcatel vendor space for
the Telco industry, 3 years in IT training and 15 months supporting Cisco networks in the Finance industry. He has
experience in consultancy, customer training, software trials and demos, installations, upgrades, testing and support.
He has excellent communication, customer facing, analytical and technical problem solving skills.

Technical Trainer
Voss is a development partner of Cisco. It has a world wide presence providing Cisco’s Unified Communications clients
with a management platform that manages all of Cisco’s UC applications, software and hardware.
Whilst at Voss, Giorgio gained the following experience:
Designed and developed courseware and delivered training for Voss’s international corporate clients in United Kingdom,
Spain and North America. This was done primarily in PPT, PDF and CBT format. Set up training environments from
scratch using VMWare where customers could vpn into from anywhere in the world and go through pre-defined labs
and tutorial exercises under supervision. Created complicated installation and configuration exercises to re-enforce the
learning experience. Administered feedback from the customer and adjusted the courses accordingly. Ensured that all
customer feedback was up to the standards set by Voss.
FDM (London Academy) Jun 2011 – Aug 2014
Course Coordinator Application Support/Infrastructure Stream.
FDM is an international IT services company launching graduate careers in industry.
Whilst at FDM, Giorgio has gained the following experience:
Supervised, managed, monitored, mentored, reviewed, taught and interviewed more than 250 graduate candidates
preparing them for their first role in the industry and successfully placing them in that role. Designed, developed and
marked exams, coursework and project work. Ensured that student feedback was up to the standards set by FDM.
Taught all the core and stream modules for the application support and infrastructure streams in FDM including Unix
scripting, SQL, Financial Industry Awareness, CCNA, Red Hat and Solaris Unix system administration, Excel/VBA, ITIL
(Foundation) and PL/SQL.
Designed, developed and delivered the CCNA (networking) and Red Hat courseware.

Professor Bragoli was a company set up to develop the design for a computer system that allowed real-time advertising
on the London underground and on the train networks.
The company was made dormant due to financial reasons.

NSC Global provides global network implementation and support solutions to world class customers.
Provided 1st
line network support to Sungard Availability Services in their BAU environment. Acted as the interface
between all the internal departments and the HA (High Availability) team. Worked in an ITIL environment logging
incidents and using the knowledge management database to provide workarounds for them. Escalated problems to the
HA team and managed those issues to a resolution.
Performed the full integration testing for the roll out of the networking components of the data center build for
Accenture’s NHS patient records project. Performed the full integration testing according to the targets set. Escalated
any issues to the network team. Managed the escalated issues to resolution.
Provided 1st
line support in NSC Global’s NOC to its customers. Logged incidents in the trouble ticketing system and
managed tickets to resolution with the assistance of Cisco TAC team (Technical Assistance Centre).

Network Engineer
Interactive Data provides financial information feeds to the investment banks in the city.
Six month contract providing 2nd
line networking engineering support for Cisco routers and switches. Managed the
known error database, resolved network issues, and escalated problems to 3rd
line. Managed these problems to a
resolution. Worked in an ITIL based framework to OLAs (Operational Level Agreements) dictated by the company.
Managed change requests escalating them to the Change Advisory Board when necessary.

Senior Systems Engineer June 2000 – Oct 2002
Resolved a difficult dispute with a customer culminating in the successful deployment of a brand new software system
on their site (Customer = Thus telecom).
Conceived of a way to integrate a company’s pan European operations into one central location resulting in easier
management of the company’s resources (Customer = BT).
Demonstrated the installation and commissioning of a software management system and trained employees on how to
use it in a foreign language, Italian (Customer=Tiscali).
Set up a test bed allowing full integration testing of Nortel’s fiber optic network management software for the first time
in Europe. Discovered many problems that had not been noted during the verification stage of the software lifecycle
(Customer=BT).

according to customer’s changing requirements.
Tested access SDH hardware at BT labs in Martlesham ensuring that it passed all BT’s NIF (Network Integration Facility)
entrance and exit requirements.
Translated technical documentation from Italian into English, saving time and expenses.
