Objective
To obtain a career that allows me to live and work in Hilton Head Island. Most of my career has been spent working in healthcare as a
registered dietitian. I am interested in working in a field that fosters wellness, happiness, and positive energy. I am open to working in any
position from service to sales. I enjoy being around people and ensuring that customer service needs are anticipated and exceeded.
Experience
Compass Group Morrison Senior Living, Charlotte, NC 2005-current
 Nutrition Care Manager, Registered Dietitian in Continuing Care Retirement community with over 400 resident in different levels of
care and life span: independent skilled care, assisted living and short term rehabilitation.
 Educate dining staff on food safety guidelines per county health department guidelines.
 Conduct nutrition assessments of residents and communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff to ensure
nutrition needs, therapeutic diet requirements are met per state and federal guidelines.
 Plan menus for regular and modified diets to ensure nutritional adequacy.
 Conduct wellness presentations for residents, staff and general public.
Covenant Village, Gastonia NC 2002-2005
 Assistant Director, Nutrition and Dining Services in a Continuing Care Retirement community with over 250 residents in different
levels of care and life span; independent living, skilled care, and assisted living.
 Plan, organize, and direct special events for residents from large special dining events to private parties for resident and families.
 Oversee food and supply purchases, ensure budget goals were met.

The best skill I believe that I possess is my smile. Another skill I am proud of is my ability to listen well to identify needs, wants and
desires of another person. I listen to obtain information that is useful for the present situation. I love being able to fix or repair a problem
or challenge. I look for permanent solutions to problems, which often requires persistent, honest listening and open discussions with
people. I believe that a warm smile and the skill of honest listening and communicating can be transferred to any work situation. I am a
Registered and Licensed Dietitian through the commission on dietetics registration. I am a certified Yoga Instructor through the Yoga
Alliance.
