Manufacturing Manage up to 31 associates across 6 production lines. Streamlined
production manning efforts and procedures. Reduced overall labor costs by
10% through combination of associate responsibilities. Defined procedures
for raw materials support. Eliminated wasted materials movement while
maximizing efficiency between package usage cycles. Executed various
production planning and support operations. In support of surge operations;
executed the procurement and inventory of 200 pallets of raw materials and

Management
Manage production facilities and state of readiness. Ensured scheduled and
emergency maintenance requirements were submitted to Maintenance
Department for completion. Created a maintenance utilization matrix to
ensure required preventative maintenance and corrective actions are
scheduled and executed. Defined cleaning and sanitation schedules in
accordance with local and federal regulations. Provided schedules for
periods of under utilization to Energy Manager for energy conservation goals.
This effort contributed to the facility remaining on track for water and
electrical usage per corporate standards.
Inventory
Management
Extensive experience in inventory management and procurement.
Supervised accounts valued between 1.5 to 5 million dollars. Ensured
proper procedures for accountability, lot tracking, maintained 100% inventory
of all items. Facilitated custody records and transfers between responsible
parties. Eliminated redundant equipment and obsolete items, validated
warranty work and maintained sufficient end items for mission success.
2. Packaging/Bottling Managed beverage lines meeting production goals through focus on safety,
quality and production efficiency. Facilitated the establishment of new
production lines valued at 15 million dollars. Established training
requirements for staff, established standard operating procedures,
interviewed and hired staff, and flawlessly executed all milestones for start-
up. Successfully managed line efficiency and waste. Over the course of the
first 3 months, reduced the scrap rate from 18% to 8%. Reduced unrecorded
downtime from 300 minutes to 60 minutes per shift.
Process Control Provided management several process control initiatives that were integrated
into operations to reduce variation. As a member of the Global Process
Improvement Team provided techniques to improve line efficiency that
increased Unconstrained Line Efficiency from 35% daily to 56% daily. These
tangible results supported both local operations and provided support to
strategic corporate initiatives for customer demand and On Time In Full
requirements.

Improvement
Received Managers’ vision for equipment readiness. Created a
comprehensive development and training plan for equipment preventative
maintenance for over 75 individual pieces of processing and packaging line
items. Incorporating skills training, managed on the job training, and
classroom instruction into the comprehensive training curriculum, resulted in
weekly training schedules for facility. These efforts are steadily increasing
equipment readiness over the last six months, while increasing operator
knowledge of equipment and technical skill.
