2. I will be comparing Shaun of the dead and Scooby
doo because they are very similar to our movie
they are comedy movies but at the same time
they are comedies meaning that they link to our
project. Also the two movies have a similar
storyline to our movie.

4. Scooby-doo costumes change from there normal
clothes and the clothes that are worn in the
television show normally. So as they board the
plane they wear everyday clothes and as they
arrive on the island they have there normal
clothes on but when they realize there is a
mystery on there hands they change into the
clothes which they use to solve a mystery in there
cartoon.

6. The movie is set on a island called spooky island
where its normally a theme park and that attracts
a lot of young people to the island. There is only
one way onto the island and only one way of the
island which is by boat so once the group are
there they cant get off of the island.
7. Fred, Daphne, Velma, shaggy and Scooby have
been sent an invitation to go to spooky island to
solve a mystery. However not knowing that
everybody else from the gang is there. The theme
park owner Mr. Emile Mondavarious was worried
bout the things which are happening on his island
and the only people so sort it out are the gang.
8. In the movie there is a lot of special effects firstly
there is Scooby which is a cartoon character. Also
there is Scooby's cousin who is also a cartoon.
Finally there is all the monsters which are also
special effects as they are cartoons the same as
Scooby and his cousin
9. The iconography in Scooby-Doo is that the gang is
always in the same colors clothes/ mystery clothes.
Fred = white jumper with blue collar and blue trousers
Velma = orange jumper, orange skirt, orange socks and
orange shoes
Shaggy = green t-shirt and brown trousers
Daphne = pink dress and pink boots.
Furthermore they gang travel around in there mystery
machine which is there truck

11. Shaun wears his work uniform throughout the
whole of the movie. Whilst Ed wears a t-shirt with
a a pair of jeans this makes the movie look normal
people in everyday life meaning that the viewer of
the movie can link themselves to that movie.

13. This movie is set at his house and he moves
around his little town getting the people that
mean the most to Shaun also he spend a lot of
time in his local pub the Winchester where he
ends up setting up shop and staying there for the
zombie apocalypse
14. There has been a zombie apocolypse in shauns
home town and he takes it upon himself to be the
person who will protect his closest and dearest
around him and that is what he does at the
Winchester Shaun's local pub or his home from
home as he spends everyday after work there. But
in the pub the zombies get in will he survive or
become a zombie and turn on his friend and
family
15. In this movie the special effects are mostly on the
zombies and what they look like because gthe are
the main characters in the movie the zombies
make up is special effects beucase the don’t just
normally look like that and they need a special
mke up artist to do this finally there is the
shooting at the end which is special effects as they
don’t really shoot the people they shoot blank
bullets

own meaning that they are usually together (
Simon pegg and Nick frost) as they have been in
other movies such as the worlds end and paul
Also the comedy side of the movie as zombie
movies are usually horrors but they have made it
so that they have put there own little spin on the
zombie stereotype
