We girls… are waiting for the light to
come on…
我們這些女孩
等候著曙光的到來

When becoming a victim of unwanted
pregnancy, we are waiting, can’t look
them in their eyes, as if we are guilty in
front of someone…
當我們成為意外懷孕的受害者
我們只能等候，無法直視他人的雙眼
彷彿我們成了別人眼中的罪犯

When carrying the baby in our wombs,
we are waiting the doctor’s scorning
eyes to change into a mother’s tender
look…
當我們肚子裡懷著寶寶
我們等候醫生鄙視的眼神
能變成慈母充滿愛意的雙眼

Waiting for someone to come and rescue
us, when getting beaten by someone…
我們等候著救援
當我們遭受無情的毒打

Waiting, believing there’s a chance will
come, when being pointed as
uneducated…
靜靜地等候著
相信總會有改變的契機
即使別人指責我們沒有學問

Waiting for the teachers encouraging,
tender words, when being bullied and
laughed at the school…
等候著老師們鼓勵溫柔的話語
當我們在校園裡遭受霸凌與嘲笑

Waiting and hoping that the husband will
understand us and love us, when
becoming a wife at early age…
等候著、渴望著我們的丈夫
對一位少女媽媽的諒解與愛

Waiting that will soon end, when fulfilling
desires and pleasures, of some
obnoxious jerk, against our will…
等候著結束能趕快降臨
當一位混蛋無視我們的意願
只為滿足他自己的慾望與樂趣

Waiting to forget the cold abortion room,
and the sound of abortion equipment…
等候著有朝一日
能忘記在那冷冷的手術台上
與那些人工流產設備的聲音

Hoping for the time to play and have fun
as the others, when struggling under
mothering and household works…
等候著有一天能像其他人一樣
到處遊玩
而不是老忙著做家事與照顧孩子

Hoping that it will be over, when being
discriminated against…
等候著有一天
對我們的歧視能煙消雲散

Praying and waiting for the God to
change our destiny, when being sold…
等候著並祈禱著上天能拯救我們
當我們被無情的賣掉

We girls… are waiting for a better time…
我們這些女孩
等候著好日子有天來到

BUT…
No matter how long we wait, all these are
still the same, even when we talk about it
till our mouths are exhausted…
但是不管我們等多久
這些情況卻永遠沒有改變
即使我們到處訴求，嘴都乾了、裂了

This waiting, most like hoping for a
bonfire in the water, make some of us to
give up and depart from our lives…
這有如水中撈月的等候
讓有些人放棄了希望
選擇走上絕路

Now, this is the time to change the waiting
to trying.
現在是把等候轉化成嘗試的時候

Will take only one step to resolve this all.
只需要往前走一步
就能帶來扭轉乾坤的契機

We should unite our voices; reach even
the farthest we can achieve.
我們應該團結再一起
讓我們的聲音能到達最遠的角落

We will be stronger day by day. Bit by bit
we will break the huge black rock that is
abusing us.
我們將日益茁壯
一點一點我們將擊碎
這壓抑著我們的黑色巨石

And when it comes down to debris, we
the girls will finally enjoy our rights.
當它分裂為碎片後
我們終將獲得我們的權益

We have a right to study, we have a right
to make our own choices, and we have a
right to love.
我們將有能求學的權利
我們將有能為自己打算的權利
我們將有能愛人的權利

We must live as a Beautification to this
life, but not as a symbol.
我們將實際美化我們的人生
而不是讓這個想法只是個信念

We will not stop, we won’t give up and
we will not retreat.
我們將不會停止
我們將不會放棄
我們將不會後退

WE ARE THE FLOWERS, NEVER DECAY,
BUT EVER MORE GORGEOUS AND
POWERFUL.
