Remind yourself   • Review Your Mission - what do you want to achieve and for who  • Review Your Vision - where are you going?  • Review Your Values - What matters most to you
What are Your Goals   • How do you want others to see you {Brand}  • What do you still need to learn {Research}  • Who do you serve {Market or Niche}  • What should your marketing deliver   • What are your sales goals {be precisce}
Know Your Market   • Who is your market and sub-market  • What does your typical buyer(s) look like  • Who is your competition (what are they doing)  • What is happening in the marketplace (trends)  • What external factors can impact your business
Create your Strategy   • Will you add new products/services?  • Do you need to revise your pricing?  • What communication pieces do you need?  • What's your main message to advertise and where  • Can you generate any publicity (free/paid)
Create your Strategy   • Online Marketing, what's your budget and where will you invest it  • When was the last time you invested in S.E.O.   • What promotional offers will you do over the year?  • Will you participate in industry or other Trade Shows  • How will you work with and support your Sales Team
Investment   • What's your marketing budget for the year?  • How does it compare to last years?  • Breakdown the budget by the categories you intend to use  • Monitor and review your spend vs. impact regularly
