Data floods streaming into data centers are further exacerbated by multiple copies of the same data. Multiple backups, archives, snapshots, data clones for development and business analytics are multiplexing data volumes and drive relentlessly the need for additional storage capacities and budget. Data copy management and storage innovations should be the next key IT initiatives to get data copies and storage cost back under control.

(how many remote copies do I need and how far away should they be?)  How much am I ready to pay for my insurance?  How many copies? At what location? On what media?

That provides highest performance The snapshot can be accessed by any Backup Application and can be written to any target (CS, cloud, S3, CD) Near CDP: One snapshot every 15 minutes Live test of retired applications possible
