This two-day conference on electronic invoicing in Europe was held in Madrid on April 27-28, 2010. It included welcome addresses, panel discussions on topics like facilitating SME adoption of e-invoicing and achieving interoperability, and presentations on the European e-invoicing framework and the perspective of the European Central Bank. The program covered regulatory issues, standards, and how different stakeholders can work together to advance the use of electronic invoicing. Over 100 people attended the event, which was organized by the European Commission to promote discussion and progress on e-invoicing initiatives across Europe.
