  7. 7. 5.4 Develop WBS Each project has a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): The WBS provides the project team with a framework of what has to be delivered. By decomposing work into work packages, activities can be built, scheduled, estimated, monitored and controlled. 1. Evaluate historical WBS structures from previous projects and adopt similar structure in own project 2. Support the project scheduler in building the project WBS construct in Primavera P6 3. Where required, independently conducts scope definition by determining appropriate decomposition for various WBS elements 4. Attend brainstorming sessions and support/contribute to the development of a project WBS 5. Lead the development of the WBS involving schedulers and key stakeholders 6. Verify correctness of the WBS through peer checks and consultations with other stakeholders 7. Thoroughly understand and apply the standard for WBS development
