($7 billion provider of digital technologies, serving the global Media & Entertainment industries)
GM WW Operations for Thomson’s Premises Systems division (revenue greater than $3 billion); responsible for all
operations for the Satellites / Cable setup box business, the gateways and modems products, and the telephony group
delivering more than 52 Million products annually. Responsible for managing: 3 ODMs, 5 CMs, 7 OEMs and 2 customization
center partners located in 9 countries across all geographies. Directed over 200+ staff (in Planning, Procurement, Logistic,
Sales Admin., CM/ODM/OEM management, NPI, Mfg Eng., Quality and After Sales) and 3 Thomson’s manufacturing sites
(1000 people). Awarded the European Supply Chain Excellence Award 2007 – Telecom (over BT, Vodafone and Samsung).
 Integrated 4 operation divisions together while reducing operating cost by 26%. Recuperated a $200M key account
by re-establishing priorities with CEM partner and Thomson’s teams.

Promoted to VP WW Materials to create a centralized material organization that includes: 9 manufacturing sites Worldwide
and 75 employees. Responsibilities include: Planning, Purchasing, Commodity Management, Outsourcing, Document
Control, Components Engineering and Shipping, Receiving and Traffic. Responsible for 225 employees and $35M of internal
and external driven business making electronics components
 Improved OTD to our customer by 20 points while implementing business processes for inventory management and
cost reduction programs, which resulted in over 50% inventory turns improvement and over 5% year over year
spend reduction. Improved GM % by 2 points in 2005 by implementing cost reduction programs across the supply
base.
 Defined Coherent outsourcing strategy, selected two tier 2 Contract Manufacturers and transferred 2 product lines
in 2004/2005, which resulted in 20% cost savings and a 20% decrease in inventory.
 Implemented transportation programs including consolidation of freight forwarders and direct ship activities that will
provide 20% cost reduction.
CELESTICA (San Jose, CA) - VP Finance Latin America and US West 2000 to 2002
($10 billion Contract Manufacturer providing electronics manufacturing services to original equipment manufacturers in Asia, Europe, and
Latin America)
Responsible with the Senior VP of Operations for $1.5 billion of business spread across 8 manufacturing sites located in
Brazil, Mexico and the West coast of the US. Managed 5 finance controllers and 75 staff members in 3 countries responsible
for accounting/reporting/planning/budgeting, controls/governance, pricing and support to line organization.
 Managed the business in a downturn economy: closed 3 mfg sites, reduced headcount by over 30% and
restructured the regions to meet revised objectives for 2001.
 Managed successfully $50M of liability exposure from customers by finding win-win solutions; eliminating the
exposure for Celestica while allowing the customers to remain in business.
 Integrated 2 acquisitions with existing businesses and implemented SAP.
QUANTUM (Milpitas, CA) - Manager / Director – Supply Chain Management 1996 to 2000

Managed a Supply Chain Group responsible for procurement of custom IC’s, heads/media, mechanical components and
packaging to support manufacturing in Japan and Singapore. Total purchasing volume > $300M / year.
 Led material related activities and strategic discussions between Quantum and its manufacturing partner (MKE).
Prepared the quarterly price negotiations ($1 billion per quarter) and achieved substantial savings ($30M/qtr).
 Team Leader – New Product Introduction: Product launched on schedule (ahead of competition) and qualified all
major OEMs // Product generated over $750M in year 2000 and achieved the highest GM 7200 RPM AT at
Quantum. // met or exceeded all business plan objectives.
IBM CANADA (Québec, Canada) - Manufacturing manager / Strategic Planning 1988 to 1993
(Manufacturer of IC’s first level packaging for IBM products. Over 2000 employees site)
In charge of a manufacturing department with 40 employees. Achieved 25% improvement in the employees’ morale index
while improving production by 10% and reducing absenteeism from 8% to less than 1%.Prepared and presented to the
various IBM headquarters in Canada and the US, the IBM Bromont’s 5 years strategic plans and associated 12 months
tactical plans. Led a cross functional team of 75 people responsible to set the strategic direction for the IBM Bromont plant.
