5. Patient without any medical records before
the accident.
He is admitted at 5 am with a frontal
traumatic brain injury, he was hit with a
baseball bat.

Disoriented in time and place
Left sided hemiparesia and hyperreflexia
Right frontal subgaleal hematoma

15. The patient was hit with a baseball bat in the
right frontal region and admitted with a 12 GCS,
confussion and left side hemiparesia.
CT scan reported a right frontal epidural
hematoma and a craniotomy and evacuation of
hematoma was performed, also first treatment
cicle of Renacenz is started.
After 24 hours, the patient has 15 GCS, and he’s
improving movility in the left side of the body.
16. At the end of the first cicle of Renacenz
treatment the patient was fully recovered,
without any neurological impairment.
Renacenz has proven to be a helpful resourse
to improve patients outcome, but we must
not forget the role of decompressing surgery
in the traumatic brain injury.
