This has meaning only when comparison between two or more countries or local governments is made.

EASE OF DOING BUSINESS International Financial Corp’s (IFC) 2018 Ease of Doing Business Report The Philippines ranked lower in the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Report, placing 124th out of 190 countries from 113th previously, largely due to higher business registration costs and increased time for imports inspection.

EASE OF DOING BUSINESS Transactions costs form a major part of setting up shop for small and medium sized businesses. Having fewer steps in the process of setting up a business along with less bureaucracy and red tape can help small and medium sized businesses manage their financial resources and credit. This is giving opportunity to better manage their finances and allocations for their post-setup operations and the running of their actual businesses.
