Women in science: Is there still a problem? What are the problems? How can we fix them? This talk tries to answer these questions. As expected, there is still a big problem for women to reach high position in academy, especially in science, although not only. The root of those problems is not unique. There is a contribution from stereotypes, attitude, unconcious bias, and of course parenting. Building a family is a big issue for any woman with a demanding carrier. Each answer is motivated with available data and published studies.
