The Food Bank is the local food clearinghouse; they distribute food to agencies and hunger projects throughout the county. T hey
are open M-F from 8:30—2:30 and would love to have your fresh produce.

Plant a Row for the Hungry is an international project (www.gardenwriters.org) that encourages gardeners to share
their produce with needy folks in their community. Whether you intentionally planted extra crops for the
Plant a Row for the Hungry project or just have some extra fruits and veggies to share, we hope
that you’ll donate to one or more of these local hunger programs.
If you have a group that would like to help with harvest of produce from the Plant a Row for the Hungry beds at
the Hope Community Garden or other gardens, or you know of food closets or hunger projects to add to
