To provide comprehensive social security
protection for Malaysians.
CORPORATE OBJECTIVE
To ensure and guarantee the timely and adequate
provision of benefits in a socially just manner and

totalling more than 1200 work-related deaths a
year.

CONCLUSION

SOCSO to take the lead in coordinating these prevention
strategies as they are the Malaysian Social Security
Institution providing a comprehensive social security
protection to all Malaysian workers.
•
SOCSO needs to rearrange its business strategies to focus on
prevention by establishing an in house prevention team to
coordinate this effort.
•
Employers also should start investing in prevention.
•
The Resolution is a collective agreement between all
relevant stakeholders.
