A look into FOODit's benefits and cultural values as a company. Find out how we're eradicating terrible meals, what makes us a strong team and how we continuously improve ourselves through culture.
2. FOODit is here to do one thing and one thing only:
eradicate terrible meals.
That’s our stimulus, our motive - our WHY.
It may sound a little ambiguous, yet when we
mention it in conversation, people never ask ‘what
do you mean by that?’ - instead, they always ask,
‘how are you doing that?’

Why FOODit?
3. Autumn 2015
We exist to help independent food
businesses grow and help the people of the
world discover great food.
4. Autumn 2015
There’s a lot of talk and debate around what it
means; it takes on a different meaning depending on
the context; whether it’s anthropology, biology or
sociology. However, they all have one thing in
common: having the right environment for a
commonality to grow.
That’s what it means to us - a mutual goal towards
which we can all grow.
So what’s culture?
5. We’re building FOODit one day at a time. It’s
important for us that people who join our
team understand not just what we are doing,
but why we are doing it. At the heart of all
this is making sure people match our
culture.

6. Company Culture -
only works if the
foundations are there.
Beliefs of FOODies -
the essential
foundations of our
culture.
What makes a successful team are people who share your values

8. Collaboration and
Transparency
Everyone is better off when they know what’s
going on in the company and why certain
decisions are made. The reason our team is
so strong is that we share our goals and we’re
always ready to jump in and help each other.

9. Self-motivated
For us, being a FOODie is not a job - it’s a lifestyle. The
drive to achieve our goals is what gets us out of bed in
the morning, keeps us happy in the office and makes us
tick. We don’t need to be told to do stuff - the love for our
craft is what pushes us to keep moving.
Autumn 2015
10. Get things done
We FOODies like to roll up our sleeves and get things
done. That means being productive, efficient and able
to run with our ideas. Decisions don’t need to go
through layers and layers of red tape before we act on
them. We’re really empowered to do things!

11. Continuous Learning
They say that the moment you stop learning - you stop living!
We take this rule very seriously and always try to invest in
ourselves through lifelong learning and personal growth. We
take courses, go to conferences and take up new challenges
whenever we can.
Autumn 2015
12. Passion for food
Have we mentioned we loved food? Whether it’s tiny
kebab joints, fancy French restaurants or Japanese pizza
on stilts, we’ve done it all and continue to seek out the
greatest food out there to share with our users!
Autumn 2015
13. Supporting the
independent restaurant
scene
Who doesn’t love an underdog? We make it our mission
to help independent food businesses grow and succeed
beyond their expectations. We’re always at the ready to
be the support system that our clients need.
