Advances in neuroscience and demand by baby boomers continue to drive growing activity in the field, including major initiatives by healthcare and insurance providers, seniors housing operators, the military and sports teams.
So how does the CogniFit Program work….. The program offers independent assessment and individualized training for 14 key cognitive skills such as memory, attention, perception and motor control It starts with a 40 min baseline assessment consisting of 18 tasks similar to those used in standard neurocognitive tests The program then builds a 24 session personalized training regimen. Each individual then trains three sessions a week for a period of 20 min each time Based on the results the training program varies from one individual to the other in level of difficulty, in the selection of tasks, and in the frequency with which each training task is used As the individual trains and achieves higher scores the task become harder, challenging yet fun and rewarding
