 Digital Literacy is about being able to make sense of digital media.
 This occurs through meaningful and sustainable consumption and creation of
data that improve an individual’s potential to contribute to an authentic
community.
 This includes the ability to analyze, prioritize, and act upon the countless
digital media 21st century citizens encounter on a daily basis.

3. What is Digital Citizenship?
 The digital world is a future dimension where people interact virtually on all
aspects of careers, education, and social life.
 Digital citizenship is our behavior in that world, including how we treat data,
other people, and our participation and contributions.
 There are new rights and responsibilities involved, including some around
potential data breaches.

4. Becoming A Digital Citizen
 We are living in the digital age – more and more of our everyday activities and
tasks are becoming digital, be that work meetings or school classes. But, how
can one navigate the digital landscape, without exposing themselves to
misinformation or their data being stolen?
 We communicate, recreate, and work in an internet-connected world.
Although this new paradigm makes much of life easier, it also requires some
adjustments to our habits. Among the challenges is being a good digital
citizen.
 The digital world is open to all that know how to use it.😎

because it’s all right here - in the palm of your hand. 🖐

all.
 Your password should be hard for someone to guess but easy for you to

 Strong passwords have a mix of letters, special characters, and numbers
 A strong password makes it harder for people to access your info 󰘍
 Take a moment to consider what passwords you've made for your accounts.
How easy would it be for a cyber criminals to guess them 󰘍

19. Here's a checklist of how to create
stronger passwords for your accounts
 Never use personal names or info in your password, and most importantly -
never share this password with anyone, not even your pet 😸
 A strong password should have:
 1. At least one number
 2. At least one symbol
 3. At least one lowercase and one uppercase letter.
 4. At least seven characters

 As a digital citizen, you’ll soon be spending a lot of time on the internet
exploring all kinds of news, opinions and stories 󰘍
 To stay focused and aware of the content you’re creating and consuming, you
need to be able to think critically about it󰘍
 Critically thinking cuts through the noise online.
 You need to be able to think clearly about all the information you find online

 Without critical thinking skills, you can be easily manipulated, deceived, or
led to conclusions that others want you to have 😧
 You need strong critical thinking skills so that you can maintain your own
beliefs and reach your own conclusions 🙂
