- Developing standards and interoperability Support new technologies, encouraging standards and interoperability. Currently standards are defined by industry interest parties, often outside Europe, and this undermines long-term competitiveness. A European push is needed to define standards in areas such as the Internet of Things, cybersecurity, big data and cloud computing Europeana DSI in the DSM In our case, we deliver services for Europe’s cultural sector to enable interoperability of Europe’s digitized culture. The vision is to make culture openly accessible in a digital way and to promote the exchange of ideas and information.
