2. European Sales and Marketing Conference
Brief
The document presents the brief that the client has provided for this commission, this means that this brief has to be
followed accordingly to be able to meet the client’s and the target audiences satisfaction. This brief was the one of two
items that were delivered, the other item to help towards creating the ideal commission involves samples of previous
agenda forms and welcome letters that have been used successfully at past conferences similar to this.
4. Welcome Letter
The beginning of the welcome letter should start with a cultural hello which is “Boa Tarde” which means “Good Afternoon” in
Portuguese, this time of the day was chosen as this is the time all the delegates will arrive to the conference according to the
agenda. Id want to use this as a beginning as it includes the culture of the country where the conference is being held. These
are multiple fonts that I have chosen to assume a professional outlook to the start of the welcome letter although also a
creative outlook to the welcome letter. I got the inspiration for this idea from previous welcome letters that have been created,
for instance “Willkommen” which is “Welcome” in German which is where the conference was held in previous years. The
creative aspect of the title is so that there is more vibrant and exciting greeting to the delegates of the conference.
5. Welcome Letter
The welcome letter has to contain certain information which the delegates need to read in order to understand contact
details and other important sources of information. These are some samples of how I would want to layout the welcome
letter with all the necessary information included.
6. Agenda Form
The agenda form has been followed accurately to the brief and samples as this is what the client requires to be satisfied.
The highlighted red circles are the items on the agenda form that the client wanted to changed and improved to fit to their
brief and towards the target audience.
