Overall goal of this campaign for Comcast NBC Universal is to be more interactive with our customers on all levels, such as, answering questions through social media, posting to news feed of update and new information, keeping contact with customers as best as we can, and etc. Interacting with the customer and hearing their point of view is important and with their point of view you can customize new personal strategies. We would like to also create a new mobile application to further our interaction on with mobile users. Supporting more of our new interaction options is a new email marketing strategy to have emails set up through your email that’s connected to your Comcast device. This message will be sent in a format similar to our blog, mentioning the week’s current updates and providing alternate links to our various social media platforms.
  3. Comcast is known to have unhelpful customer service over the phone, but is well known for good service in person. By being more interactive through social media the customer’s needs are meet and problems can be solved. What the company needs is to re-gain our reputation of all around good customer service by interacting with our customers by utilizing all social media platforms.
  4. Comcast NBC Universal utilizes three specific social media platforms: Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. With the launch of a new Facebook we are able to see the activity we want and interact with customers through conversation. Launching a new Facebook would help us create new daily updates and news to our feed with option for our customers to interact together and to give feedback, while we can still interact with them. Although the company already has a Twitter, we don’t utilize it enough to the point of being there with the customer. Even though Twitter gives you minimum space to share something to your news feed, it’s a great way to post a good amount of posts during the day and with the help from providing links, or possibly uploading a photo or video, you have the attention of the person immediately. Twitter is another social media platform that really helps with the conversation aspect to social media.

With Facebook we can utilize their feature a business can use if their profile is a business profile. This can help modify what you share and when you share it to distinctly time when you should be posting. To measure your interaction for other social media platforms the Internet has plenty different websites to do the trick. This mobile app will be connected useful in many ways from bringing our blog more to life with a better design for mobile devices. Making our blog more user friendly and providing information and games for our customers is a fun way to stay connected. While using the application you can find yourself looking through the latest’s information and news, pictures and videos shared or uploaded from all of our users and you can check in on what the business has to offer, while checking in on what will be on your T.V. selections tonight.

This will be a great way to keep our customers involved and a way for them to access our blogs information easier and provides our links to reach our other platforms for easy access.

According to Kevan Lee from buffersocial, a blog for thoughts on social media and online marketing, states “the industry average settles between two-hundred to three-hundred dollars per day on social media.” If Comcast NBC Universal would follow the highest amount of three hundred dollars per day on social media, the company would spend nine thousand dollars a month and one hundred and eight thousand dollars a year. The money would be covered and used for designing graphics and photos for new advertising and ideas to reach out for to our customers, while scheduling posts and utilizing given statistics for content marketing.
  9. Since social media is still a fairly new thing, it is really that useful to use it or is your time really spent on the subject really wasted. Utilizing what we are offered to use for a business today is so different from what we used to be able to do. Using social media can help really make the process up close and personal with your customers and users. Utilizing social media platforms can help you sell more of your product and really leave a message. You can find customers you have never known and most of what everyone can use everyday is free. With help from technology and the use of new social media platforms we can be more interactive with our customers.

With this campaign we will seek to interact with our customers more and open new doors for change and ideas from whom we provide our services to. Today we are moving away from how people used to interact and now with technology advancing we need to advance with it. Keeping a close interactive strategy with our customers gives us the step ahead and the feedback of ideas from our customers.
